Surprisingly, Director Mani Ratnam has roped in Nayanthara for Kadal. Though the details of her character are still unknown, we hear that she will be playing an important part in the film. Earlier, there were reports that she was offered a role in Raavanan too, but her busy schedule didn’t allow her to join Mani. But, she has now made it a point, not to miss this opportunity.
Kadal has gone through few changes in the casting. With Gautham Karthik in the lead, Thulasi, Karthika Nair’s sister, has replaced Samantha as the lead lady. It also stars Aravind Swamy, Arjun, Pasupathy, Lakshmi Manch and Thambi Ramaiah.
