Leading Telugu director S.S. Rajamouli, who attended the special press meet of his much anticipated graphical extravaganza Eega at Bangalore on June 24, expressed his desire to direct a Kannada film.
Praising the rich cultural heritage of Karnataka, the director also stated that he is interested to do a film based on Vijayanagar Empire. The press meet, organized by Kiccha Sudeep, was also attended by Sandalwood stars Darshan and Crazy Star Ravichandran.
Starring Nani, Samantha and Sudeep, Eega completed censor formalities and bagged a U/A certificate.According to sources, the board has issued U/A certificate due to some intimate scenes in the film. However, they did not order any cuts in the film.
