When comedian Parotta Suri, who was seen in several films including the Vijay starrer Velayudham, bought a car, he immediately called up the Ilayathalapathy to convey the good news. On hearing it, Vijay asked Parotta Suri to come home immediately and meet him.
The Ilayathalapathy not only drove the car himself to test its efficiency but also handed over an amount to Parotta Suri as a token of his appreciation. The comedian was surprised by the gesture but nevertheless thanked the star for his benevolence.
