MA Nishad, a director has filed a complaint against Padmapriya saying that she did not cooperate while filming No 66 Madhura Bus. The complaint has been lodged with the Producers Council. According to Nishad, she had agreed to accept a remuneration of Rs 8, 00, 000 but later insisted that she be paid an extra sum of Rs 2, 00, 000 and though he agreed to pay the sum after deducting the tax at the source she said the sum should be paid to her in its entirety.
Nishad also said that she would not turn up for the shoots on time and the delay caused the production costs to escalate. Moreover she did not participate in any promotional activity and her non - cooperation resulted in the film not doing well at the box office.
