Eega flying high in Tamilnadu

After 3 weeks at the Tamil Nadu box-office, Eega (Naan Ee in tamil) is just getting stronger and stronger. This Rajamouli film opened in more than 200 screens and continues to run in more than 180 screens even in the 4th week. In its 4th week, lot of multiplexes in Chennai like Sangam, Abirami and Sathyam are shifting Naan Ee back to the bigger screens. Single screens like Kasi, Idreams and AVM have also accommodated Naan Ee again.

Such a comeback hasn’t been seen in recent times and despite the fact that Naan Ee is a dubbed movie, the masses have just lapped up what they saw. The fantastic VFX and CGI have contributed to this dream end result. Looks like, the Ee will continue to buzz for many more weeks.

Ram Chran,Vinayak film creating records

Pre release business for the Ramchran and vinayak’ film creating records in Tollywood.‘Cherry‘(tentatively titled) movie’s rights for Guntur area have been sold out to an all time record price of Rs.3.40 crores to Hari Films.This business shows the star power of ram charan and Vinayak’s charisma as a director in the cine trade.

Kajal Aggarwal and Amala Paul are playing love interests to ram charan in this mass, comedy and action entertainer, where charan would be appearing in dual role.S.S.Thaman is providing the music of this film.Chiranjeevi’s super hit song ‘Subhalekha rasukunna‘ is being remixed for this movie and it will be shot between Cherry and Kajal.D.V.V.Danayya is producing this movie under the banner Universal Media.

Bengali Beauty Richa Gangopadhyay has recently been signing new projects. First was Biriyani in Tamil and next is a Telugu project with Ravi Teja titled Saar Vacharu. Recently she shot for a song in Ooty along with Ravi Teja in Devi Sri Prasad’s music. She not only enjoyed DSP’s music but also the beautiful locales of Ooty. Ram Charan fights at Kolkata

Ram Charan got his first taste of shooting in Kolkata on Friday as he got drenched,flaunted a trishul and battled baddies at Chhotelal Ghat near the Mullickghat flower market for VV Vinayak’s untitled film.The unit thats been shooting in Kolkata from July 22,will complete its first schedule on July 30.The second leg begins in September and Teja will be joined by Singham girl Kajal Aggarwal.

The film also stars Ashish Vidyarthi and well-known south comedian Brahmanandan.Fight master Kanal Kannan,who was busy training the junior actors a few moves,was happy with his Kolkata experience.The city offers a unique backdrop to the story, he said.This is not Vinayak’s first tryst with the city though.The director has shot parts of his superhit Lakshmi and Adhurs here and considers Kolkata his lucky charm.

Alok Mukherjee, production executive of the Kolkata leg of the shoot, was caught up with the 47 sadhus he had got together for that Kumbh Mela feel. He said, “The city’s old world charm is a huge draw for southern filmmakers. Another advantage is that people can work here for 12 hours. The cheaper wages for technicians also is an added bonus.“A tough day for charan, but he seemed far from tired. As the unit broke for lunch, his wife, Upasana Kamineni, joined him.When it came to striking a pose though, Upasana shield away from the flashbulbs.

Sunny Leone’s Jism-2 in Telugu

Pooja Bhatt, who is coming with ‘Jism-2′ in bollywood is making news even before its release. Ajith plays cameo role Sridevi’s English Vinglish

The news that Ajith is playing a cameo role in Sridevi’s comeback movie “English Vinglish” is well known by now. He will be seen in a 3 minute cameo and this scene will be shot in Tamil and Telugu.The producer of this movie, R.Balki is very pleased and admits to feeling honored to work with Ajith. Balki himself is a celebrated film maker after films like Cheeni Kum and Paa. He even won a National Award for Paa in the Best Feature Film in Hindi category. Balki has described Ajith as a mega star and is pleased to have Ajith playing Amitabh’s role in the Tamil and Telugu version. So, this will be Ajith’s 52nd release and 2nd release in 2012, after Billa 2.

Later on she continued to act in Hindi and Tamil films.Now after Amy another British girl Anara is coming to Kollywood. She has made her debut through the film titled Kadhale Ennai Kadhali.Debutant director Shaan while speaking about this film said, ” A Tamil boys fall in love with a British girl. The parents of the boy refuse to accept the foreign girl. How Anara convinces them and becomes their daughter-in-law is the rest of the story. We were in search for a foreign girl .We had given advertisements in London newspapers. Seeing these advertisement 50 British girls approached us. Among them We selected Anara. The shooting of the whole film took place in London.

Stylish star Allu Arjun new click directed by Puri Jagannath shooting will be commenced in Hyderabad on September 20th 2012.  Cute actress Shruthi Hassan is likely to play female lead role and the filim is produced by Bandla Ganesh. Nani new film ‘JANDA PAI KAPIRAJU’

Hero Nani is in high spirits with the success of Eega.  He next feature film is going to be a bilingual film ‘Janda Pai Kapiraju’. Talented director Samudrakhani who directed Shambho Shiva Shambo and Sangharshana in the past will direct this film. Regular shooting of this film will start from August 1st. Amala Paul is set to star opposite Nani for the first time. K S Srinivas produces this movie on Vaasan Visuals Ventures. Lyrics are by Anant Sriram and music will be composed by G V Prakash.

Nani, Krishna Vamsi untitled film 70% completed

The shooting of Talented Hero Nani’s forthcoming film under the direction of Krishna Vamsi has completed 70% of its shooting.  Ramesh Puppala is producing this film on Yellow Flowers movie banner. Talking about the film, Krishna Vamsi said, “We have not finalized the title for our film. So far, 70% of the shooting has been completed. Nani is playing the role of a sherwani model from Old City in this film which is set in the backdrop of the current political scenario. Charan Raj is playing the villain’s role. This story is not based on Jagan or any other political leader. The film is more about what all people end up doing for money.” Catherine Teresa is playing the lead role in this film.

Bharadwaj elected as president of AP Film chamber

Andhra Pradesh film chamber of commerce elections held today. All most all the members voted . The fight was between two panels represented by Tammareddy Bharadwaja and Sravanti Ravikishore.Tammareddy was representing small producers supported by Dasari Narayana Rao and others and Ravikishore was representing big producers is supported by Suresh babu,Allu Arvind, Dilraju.

The results were announced this evening , Progressive panel representing Tammareddy won 11 out of 12 seats. while Active producers panel representing Ravikishore won only one seat.Who will be the next president ? is decided after heavy lobbying considering Tammareddy as the next president.
