The distribution rights of the Telugu version of Vikram's mega budget film Thaandavam, directed by AL Vijay, have been sold. C. Kalyan has acquired the rights for a whopping price.
"Thaandavam Telugu rights have fetched around Rs. 6 crores for the makers. After a few rounds of negotiations, Producer C. Kalyan sealed the deal," a source said. Notably, Vikram, AL Vijay and Anushka team's earlier Nanna was sold for Rs. 4 crores in 2011.
One of the costliest movies in the recent times, Thaandavam is made with Rs. 36 crores. It stars Anushka, Amy Jackson, Lakshmi Rai and Jagapathi Babu in the lead roles.
