Telugu cinema feeds only star kids

Even a school going kid can vouch for the statement. Our industry is completely filled up with star kids and even the future generation is getting ready to get into their dad's shoes. When our neighborhood(Tamil, Malayalam) weighs more on talent than progeny, we made our industry made more like a family drama.Even the Best Bad Boy of Tollywood thinks the same.Yes Sonu Sood vouches for the hard but proven fact.

Who can forget his negative portrayal in the recent Dookudu. Sonu Sood has the looks, the body and the talent, yet mostly we see him as villain in Tollywood flicks. We ask him why? Sonu says that Tollywood works in a certain pattern. Firstly we have strong established names in the industry. And then there are families of actors, whose sons will be actors after their fathers. Outsiders rarely have a chance to make it big here, he adds. Sonu understood this simple logic much earlier and took on the negative roles. They are challenging and each negative role is different from the other he adds.

Sonu Sood reminds us that apart from negative roles he has done some positive roles as well. In his upcoming Hindi film Maximum he plays an encounter cop. Then there is Shootout at Wadala, where he has a period look. There is another project where he acts as a superhero. His most favourite project he says as he grew up liking all superheroes.
