Mahesh Babu ,Samantha starrer movie Dookudu has topped the winners list of CineMAA Awards 2012. The action comedy film has grabbed seven coveted awards at the awards ceremony held on Sunday evening. Chiranjeevi and Nagarjuna handover the Best Actor Award to Mahesh Babu for his flawless performance in Dookudu. A very rare moment in the history of Tollywood.
Other films like Anaganaga O Dheerudu, Rajanna and Sri Ramarajyam have also won two awards each.
Legendary Kamal Hassan gave away the Best Debut Actress Award to Shruti Hassan for her acting prowess and alluring beauty in the flick ‘Anaganaga O Dheerudu’. How many of them will be able to receive an Award for their hard work from their father and that too on the Father’s Day. Shruti is Truly Blessed!
Sreenu Vaitla directed movie Dookudu has been adjudged the Best film, while Mahesh Babu and Sreenu Vytla walked away with the Best Actor and Best Director awards, respectively. The film has also bagged other awards like Best Cinematographer, Best Villain, Best Comedian and Best Comedian (Jury).
The CineMAA Awards for the year 2012 were announced at a grand event held in HICC Novotel, Hyderabad on Sunday evening, June 17. It was a star-studded affair, which witnessed the presence of big celebrities like Mahesh Babu, Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna, Kamal Hassan, K Raghavendra Rao, Allu Arvind, SP Balasubramanyam, Nayantara, Tamanna, Shriya Sharan, Shruti Hassan and many others.
